Week 2 Newsletter
Week 2 came and went with Mother Nature still trying to threaten our build season, but we didn’t let it slow us down. Here’s how our season is progressing:
The programming committee is currently working on the trajectory planner and implementing it as a utility class. They are also diligently developing their code for the arm and object detection.
The Awards committee has completed their Impact Award essay and is now diligently working on their presentation. Congratulations to our Dean’s List nominees, Harshi and Sathwika, and our Woodie Flowers nominee, Mrs. Guerra! We appreciate their invaluable contributions to our team.
Digital Marketing is continuously working on capturing the footage of our Crescendo season and the week 1-2 video is officially released. Students are also making additional updates to the website as well as the sponsorship package. They are organizing the footage for the FIRST Impact Award video.
The build team is discussing final plans and strategy as they continue to test prototypes. They are utilizing CAD to finish up designs for the robot. They disassembled the 2022 falcons and evaluated the front bearings. In electrical, students are working on soldering circuit boards. Meanwhile, our practice field is being constructed.
Lastly, scouting continues to work on the final forms for data collection at competitions and developing our data visualization software in Tableau.
See you next week!
