We would like to thank the Shelton Board of Education and special thank you to our Superintendent Dr. Clouet, the Board Chairman Mark Holden, and Athletic Director of Shelton High School Mr. Niski. Without their contribution this program wouldn’t have been possible for the past 20 years.

Shelton day is an annual event that takes place in downtown on the first Sunday of October. Our team holds a booth to demonstrate our robot to our city.

To celebrate our 20th year anniversary of our team, we held a 2 day robot extravaganza. We showcased our robot to elementary school students. Used a 3d printer to print out robot heads for the kids to take as souvenirs. We instructed the kids through the hour of code. We even had team 558 to join us in our extravaganza! The most important thing most of all we exposed students to STEM.

Girl scout troop 60001 visited our workshop to get their robotics badge and to get exposure to STEM and FIRST.

Our team prepared and served food to the homeless to help out our community.

On Halloween we served candy to the children of Shelton and showcased our robot and STEM.

STEM night is when Elizabeth Shelton Elementary school showcases various clubs and organizations that promote STEM. We showcase our robot and teach parents and children of the community how it works.
